Adam attained a BA Dramatic Arts (Hons.) and Television Production and Editing (Hons.) from WITS. In 2007, whilst in his 2nd year of study, he enjoyed the privilege of being the late Bill Flynn%u2019s last understudy in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. In 2009, he was awarded the Johannesburg Operatic and Dramatic Society prize for the most distinguished contribution on stage in a JODS musical. Adam finally made his professional debut in Deon Opperman%u2019s JOCK OF THE BUSHVELD, at the Jo%u2019burg Theatre%u2019s Mandela Stage, in 2010. Professionally, he has performed in SEUSSICAL JR., PIPPI LONGSTOCKING, ANNIE JR., and HONK JR., and was the music and singing teacher for their weekend Theatre Boot-camps at the National Children%u2019s Theatre. A highlight for him was being involved in TREE AAN! (A musical about the Border War) for which he was nominated for a Naledi Theatre Award for Best Comedy Performance in a Musical in 2011 for the role of David Lipschitz. In 2012, he performed in a totally new South African Children%u2019s Musical production %u2013 THE PURR FACTORY. Adam went on to teach choir and drama at King Edward VII School. Since then, Adam toured Singapore, New Zealand and China with the International Production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC for Pieter Toerien and David Ian Productions, as Baron Elberfeld. Adam recently appeared in Pieter Toerien and KickStart%u2019s Production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. He, in his spare time, creates showreels and edits films for clients. Adam owns his own production company called Exit Level Productions. Adam is so excited to be involved in SWEENEY TODD %u2013 a %u201Cbucket list%u201D show for him. He dedicates his performance to his %u201CPartner in Crime%u201D, his incredible Family and his Friends.
